Tim Bergling Foundation

The Tim Bergling Foundation approached us with the goal of gaining visibility and actively participating in Almedalen Week. Their aim was to create an open and inclusive meeting place that highlighted their crucial work for mental health. The theme 'People's Park' was intended to define the entire experience – an inspiring and welcoming space where everyone felt invited. The client requested areas for seminars, ample space for mingling, and a spot for live bands, along with a sausage lunch open to the public with on-site grilling. Furthermore, they desired room for a popcorn machine, an ice cream cart, lotteries, and other public activities, as well as the option to host smaller round-table discussions. The entire event was to embody accessibility, warmth, and a sense of community.

What We Did

We provided a centrally located garden adjacent to Almedalen, featuring a charming courtyard house that served as the seminar venue. The glass doors along one side were opened to ensure maximum accessibility and were supplemented with an outdoor sound system, allowing more attendees to follow the discussions. The space was furnished flexibly to easily transition between round-table discussions and seated seminars. Our staff was present all day to efficiently reconfigure the areas as required. Our catering team managed the on-site sausage grilling, offering a wide array of toppings. In the evening, a larger reception was hosted for approximately 200 invited guests, including Minister for Social Affairs Jakob Forssmed, who spoke at the event.

The Outcome

The event proved to be a highly popular meeting place, exuding a vibrant 'folk park' atmosphere and high energy. Colorful pennants fluttering in the breeze, live music from the Tim Bergling Foundation's house band, and ample mingling areas created a warm and festive ambiance. Guests enjoyed delicious food, canapés, and drinks in an environment that fostered conversation, community, and engagement. The event drew a large crowd and garnered very positive feedback – a successful overall experience that effectively communicated its message, warmth, and commitment.

"It's always a pleasure working with you. You are professional, responsive, and solution-focused throughout the entire planning process, and absolutely invaluable to have on-site during the event. Together, we created the open and inclusive space we envisioned for Almedalen Week."
