Country Festival – Themed Party for Corporate Events

We had the privilege of organizing the client's annual kickoff for several years in a row, but this year was destined to be something truly special. The company had reached a major milestone – becoming market leaders – and now they wanted to celebrate properly. The request was clear: a celebration that was bigger, more fun, and completely different from previous years.

Our idea for a country festival—a full evening of music, food, and activities in true Western spirit—immediately resonated with the client. Just like many of our corporate events, the plan was based on the client’s goals, culture, and preferences. The client loved the concept and gave us free rein to get the plans rolling.

Background

The company wanted to celebrate its market-leading position with a kickoff event that truly stood out from previous years.

Concept

The theme for the event became a country party – with music, food, and activities. Of course, all participants received their own cowboy hat.

Number of Participants

The event gathered 65 people, but the concept can easily be adapted for both smaller and significantly larger groups.

The Venue

On a grassy area of approximately 1500 sqm in a beautiful, secluded natural area, we built a festival site exclusively for the client.

In the afternoon, we met the 65 unsuspecting guests. After a short walk, they entered the party area and were grandly welcomed by "A Bar Song" blasting from the speakers at full volume. Cowboy hats and scarves were handed out at the entrance – guests got into character, and the party was on from the very first moment.

This was followed by welcome bubbly, snacks, and mingling before guests dove into the activities. They competed in everything from bull riding and hay bale tossing to hobby horse jumping and pie throwing, with our activity hosts cheering them on and keeping the energy flowing. One of the highlights was the line dance, where instructor Sara got all guests dancing together and filled the arena with energy.

Towards evening, a Mexican grill buffet awaited with a variety of sides, and a DJ slowly transformed the dinner into a party with a dance floor. The celebration continued until the last bus departed at 11:00 PM.

It was a night to remember. During dinner, one of the employees gave a speech describing it as the best kickoff ever. The next day, we saw a video clip from the office, where employees had moved furniture aside in the entrance to continue line dancing. For us, this was proof that we had created a kickoff that both surprised and engaged – and that guests will remember for a long time.

“There is no conference without Hansa Event. It doesn't matter which city in Sweden we choose for our conference, because they always find an exciting and fun program. You can relax knowing for sure that they have scouted all locations beforehand with flying colors. Already looking forward to the next conference!”
