Five members of the Hansa Event team were present throughout the entire event.

Gotland hosted the 2026 edition of the annual SSA Congress, and Hansa Event was honored with the task of serving as the Professional Congress Organizer (PCO) for the entire project, working in close and creative collaboration with the local organizing committee.

From the very beginning, our focus was on establishing a clear and inspiring digital presence. We developed an informative website and created a seamless registration process, setting the foundation for the participants' experience. Concurrently, in collaboration with the organizing committee, we secured all essential subcontractors to ensure the highest quality in every aspect of the project.

Throughout the entire planning phase, our work was marked by close collaboration. The organizing committee drove the content and program, while we contributed strategic insights, structure, and overall responsibility for logistics and planning. When it was time for execution, we were on-site in several key roles, ranging from co-producer and stage manager to meeting agency and overall coordinator for the congress venue and suppliers.

The congress was an extraordinary experience. Already on the first evening, participants were greeted by Visby's unique charm as three mini-trains took them on a guided tour through the historic city. Day two opened the conference at Wisby Strand, where inspiring lectures and engaging workshops followed one another.

The evening offered magic in the magnificent setting of St Nicolai – with a standing appetizer soup that transitioned into a spectacular fire show. Afterwards, guests were escorted by knights on horseback through Visby's cobblestone streets, continuing to Wisby Strand where a memorable dinner awaited.

The third day continued in the same inspiring spirit, with more lectures and seminars before the congress concluded and participants traveled home – filled with new insights, encounters, and memories.

Everything was very professional and meticulously planned.
