Visby outside the wall

Welcome to a cycling experience that combines the course of history with the tranquil beauty of nature in Visby's surroundings.

This bike tour takes us outside Visby's inner city and away from the usual paths. We cycle on small trails along the outside of the city wall. We'll learn about Visborg Castle and the medieval wall. We visit Galgberget, north of the city, and hear about its gruesome history. Via the scenic Kärleksstigen (Love Path), we cycle along the beautiful promenade with the sea as our closest neighbor, back into the city and Visby's cobblestone alleys.

Our knowledgeable guides will meet you and take the group to the bike rental to equip you with a bicycle, water bottle, and helmet. The guides will then be ready to lead you through the nature north of the city wall and through Visby's narrow alleys.
