Länsförsäkringar contacted us before Almedalen Week, requesting a central and well-functioning venue for seminars and meetings. They initially booked a half-day at one of our venues at Hansaplatsen, strategically located directly opposite the Almedalen stage. Their request included generous spaces, high technical standards, weather protection, and an easily accessible and attractive location for visitors to Almedalen Week. The ambition was to create a professional and inviting meeting place with good visibility and smooth execution.

What We Did

After an initial joint meeting, we saw an opportunity to further strengthen Länsförsäkringar's presence by offering a new space that had recently become available within Hansaplatsen. We presented it as the Premium area – Hansaplatsen's, and perhaps Almedalen Week's entire, very best location. Just inside the gate, along Donnersgatan and directly opposite the Almedalen stage, the area provided a unique starting point right in the absolute center of Almedalen Week.

The Premium area was complemented by a raised terrace overlooking Donnersgatan and Almedalsparken, creating both presence and exclusivity. With elegant textile framing, a substantial stage, generously sized areas, and a complete technical solution, the venue offered that little extra. The overall package led Länsförsäkringar to upgrade their booking for 2025, opting instead for a full day in the Premium area, where Hansa Event was responsible for the location, construction, technology, and catering.

The Outcome

The result was, as expected, very successful. The seminars were well-attended, and the venue's location gave Länsförsäkringar exceptionally strong visibility among the Almedalen Week audience. The combination of location, design, and execution created a professional and prominent meeting place that truly stood out amidst the Almedalen bustle. The outcome was so positive that Länsförsäkringar has now chosen to book the venue for the entire Almedalen Week in 2026. The Premium area has thus been established as the LF-Arena.
